Carolyn, when my mother was born, she was given a gift from a Siewert. I
don't know if it was a neighbor or relative. My Mother's maiden name was
Meier (Meyer in Poland). Her father was Frederick Meyer born
in Weisendorf, Russia/Poland, on 4 Mar 1886. His father was Ferdinand
(Ferdynand Jan) Meier born also in Wiesendorf, Russia/Poland on 14 Jun
1859. His mother was Louisa (Ludwika) Wilhelmina born in Skrzypkowo,
Poland (Near Lipno, Poland) on 19 Jun 1861. I know nothing of those
Siewerts.

However there is a Paul Siewert who lives in the Minneapolis/St Paul area.
If you think their might be a connection there I could direct you to Paul.
His wife unfortunately has AD. She was from the Venturia, ND area.
