Hello Sigrid

My GGGrandmother Anna Elisabeth (Louise) Krause nee Fandrich (b 1827)
married a man (2nd marriage) named Gottlieb Steinke (b 1817). His parents
were Peter Steinke and Rosine Bauch. All of these people lived in the
village of Synogac, Radziejow, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland.

If you have any connection between these Steinke's and your Berta Steinke or
August Steinke let me know. I have not ever been able to find out what
happened to my GGGrandmother after she married Gottlieb Steinke on 30 April
1865 in Synogac (well actually in Sompolno Lutheran Church down the road)

Thanks
Michaelle McDonald (nee Krause)

Hello Joan,

I have a little more information for you. It says only that Ludwig Tonn
was born in Prussia. However, Berta Steinke was born in Synogac. This is
Synogac, Radziejow, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland in our SGGEE gazetteer.
If you do a search in the MPD for Steinke, August born in Synogac
(that's enough information in that box), you will find his marriage to
Susanne Bezler/Bessler, i.e. Berta's parents. You will also find his
parents and siblings. The rest of the children were born in Trojaczek in
the same area. If you do a search on that village in the MPD, you will
find both Steinke and Bessler families who lived there, but your
information on this family would be additions to the database.

Good find indeed!
Regards,
Sigrid Pohl Perry
