  Hello Peter,

The place where Wilhelm Dotzlaff was born is spelled Michałów-Grabina in Polish. He was probably baptized in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Hopefully, you will be able to obtain his birth record from the Polish State Archives at Grodzisk Mazowiecki, look for further details at this link:
  http://baza.archiwa.gov.pl/sezam/pradziad.php?l=en&mode=showopis&id=4419&miejscowosc=nowy%20dwor%20mazowiecki

As for Alwine Dotzlaff my guess is that she was born in Kępa Latoszkowa and baptized in Stara Iwiczna (Alt Ilvesheim in German). If Dotzlaff is her maiden name, her birth record can probably also be found in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, see further details here:

  Hope this helps.

  > Two people had to give a sworn statement in 1947 and 1948 to a Pastor in the village of Dassensen, Germany after WW II as to where they were born, so that a new birth certificate could be issued. During the WW II they lived near Warschau and in 1945 the Russian Army took all their ID papers away. Now here they were, unable to prove to anybody who they were. In order to regain their very own I.D. they were trying to establish their identity, even to this day. If you don't have any I.D. papers, you are NOBODY ! So, now the search is on for church records for these two people to find some ancestors for them.
