I can't help with Gosdorf, but I have found births to Samuel Hoffmann
and Eva Roechert in the Lublin Project database:
Surname (Polish) Given Name (Polish) Surname Given Name Birth Year
Birth Month Father Mother (Polish) Mother Village On Disk Folder
In File Reg # Special Notes
Hoffman Emilia Hoffmann Emilie 1868 Jun Samuel Roechert, Ewa
Roechert, Eva Malinowka 14 1868-1 00098 294
Hoffmann Karolina Hoffmann Karoline 1870 Aug Samuel Roechert,
Ewa Roechert, Eva Malinowka 2 1870 00225 437
A 4-year-old daughter, Wilhelmine, also dies in Malinowka in 1872. There
are no other records shown for the couple in the index, so that is
consistent with their moving to Volhynia in the mid-1870s. These records
would be in Cyrillic, so the phonetic spelling in Russian would also
include the spelling Rauchert.
At this time it is not possible to order these records from the Lublin
Lutheran Church. You can read about the project, though, on the website:
