Ancestry
I purchased disks from ancestry (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints)and then submitted an incomplete tree with them years ago. How do I go about retrieving it. Now, also I just got my data from 23 and me. How do I make the results available so others can find relationships?
My researcher has not get back to me in zhytomir, on trails of the Scheiblers from Tuetchin to Canada. She is having trouble finding new names of places to present ones

Dear Listers,

Does anyone happen to have a copy of the AHSGR Journal, Vol.2, No. 1 (Spring, 1979)? If you do, and would be willing to scan or copy three pages for me, please respond privately. Thanks very much.

Dick Benert

I've never uploaded material to Ancestry, but this is a heartbreaking tale
for those who did.

Deleting the Family Tree: when Ancestry.com shuttered its social network
for relatives, it erased 10 years? worth of my family?s correspondence and
memories

Although much of the material is for Volga Germans from Russia, this lady
had a lot of books and resources that might be of use to those searching in
the Northwest. Copies might be avlb in other libraries.:Guide to the *Emma

Montana, Oregon, Alaska, Utah, and Washington through a union database of

Trolling on the web,

A tale of a man searching for his grandfather who was killed on the Eastern
Front during WWI - interesting because the battle info will have certainly
had an impact on those ethnic Germans (like my families) who were deported
to Siberia in 1915..... Now if only I could find where my grandmother's
brother, Adolf Baier, who was drafted into the Russian army was
buried......Hospitalized at one point, family legend has it that one of the
royal Russian princesses visited the hospital and gave him a coin...truth
or legend? No one has the coin and the family was shortly after deported
to Siberia.....
