So many treasures on the web.....

1) A website that seems to have many nationalities, ergo the name:
http://www.many-roads.com/
They have *Prussian-German and Eastern Europe links *but also some Quebec
sources. The German/Polish/sPrussian history etc. information is in both
English and German. Perhaps it will give some interesting insights.

2) Another English/German family history site
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bgwiehle/index.htm. Not
so much Eastern Europe, but does cover some Silesian, Romanian,
Austro-Hungarian sites and is in both landuages.

3) For anyone with *Mennonite roots* the D. F. Plett Historical Research
Foundation http://www.plettfoundation.org/about-us/
has some useful information.

One online publication - in German - is the history of the Russian
Mennonites http://www.plettfoundation.org/online-publications/

Other interesting articles on German Mennonites in Canada - and elsewhere -
can be found in their annual publication, *Preservings*,
There is a search engine, but use the dates of the articles to locate in
the specific issue.

 Happy reading....

Helen
