[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Can anybody search the index?

I believe you may be referring to the 'Index' Warren mentioned the other day.

This is would be the Parish Records Index database in the member's only section of SGGEE site, which you as an SGGEE member can access..  
This is an index of names extracted from microfilmed records by several volunteers.

It appears the 1842 Ilow marriages are not yet online at http://metryki.genealodzy.pl/ar2-zs0068d.

You would need to order film #1196414 through your local Family History Center to find the record.  I believe these records are written in German script.
