It looks to me like the village is Maksimowka, and it is located about halfway between Novograd Volynsk and Pulin..

So sorry that my replies are not going through right.  I am re-sending this information.


It was the S.S. Rhein sailing from Bremen on May 23, 1912.  It arrived in Baltimore, MD on June 6.


I am pretty sure the Blumental is in Tscherwonoarmejsk (forgive me if spelling is off) in Volhynia, as I found that linked to his mother's birth before.
