Marilyn

Perhaps I misunderstood - Was Christian born in 1912 or passort reads 1912?

There is a village Metschislawowska within Nowograd-Wolhynsk parish. THis is close to the larger city of Zhitomir.

  Hi Marilyn,

  Welcome to the List.

What year was Christian born? Do you have the names of his parents?

Hello: I am new to this list and first want to thank you all for the inspiring work you have been doing finding our ancestors. I am searching for mine with little luck but your success does bring me hope. I have recently found that my grandfather, Christian Heinrich (Karl) Langner/Langer may have been born in a village in Volhynia by the name Mecheslavka; this is noted on his passport (1912) I cannot find this name or a translation of it. Can anyone provide assistance? Thank you.
