Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] maiden names vs previously married
namesquestion

question - one of the records for marriage that I have for Rudolf Bohn shows
his parents as (Friedrich Bohn & Regina nee Kamień/Stein) --
this area nee Kamien/Stein -- one would then think that she had been
previously married.
Would Kamien or Stein be her maiden name? or does it mean something else
completely?
