This link will take you to a new map series posted only last month at this 
site.  It covers all of Ukraine with a map series dated 1942, revised most 
recently in 1990, and at a detailed 1:100,000 scale.

Using them will require that you:

- can cope with Cyrillic text
- know an approximate region for your village

Click on the grid on the main page to reach the general region you 
want.  Then click on that grid to narrow down to the map with your village.
