The closest Derman I can find (there are several in Volhynia) to Kremenetz
is about half way between Kremenetz and Rowno or about 46 km NE of
Kremenetz. Today it is known as USTENSKOYE PERVOYE and on an older map I
have, it is referred to as Sielo-Derman.

You can find it using ShtetlSeeker at
http://www.jewishgen.org/ShtetlSeeker/loctown.htm

Other reference points to find it on maps -
50/22 longitude and 26/14 latitude
about 18 km WNW of Ostrog

I browsed my maps in the immediate vicinity of Kremenetz and did not find
anything similar. This place is currently not in our list of German
settlements. Were your ancestors German? If so, I would like to add the
location to my list.
