if there is a "M|hle" after the village name, it means the mill of this
village.

Especially for Schimmerwitz, county Lauenburg, province Pomerania, you may
have a look at my web pages at
http://pom-wpru.kerntopf/ortedetails/ort_schimmerwitz.htm. There you see a
detailed map of Schimmerwitz. Just between "Zewitzer Boor" and
"Schimmerwitz" you can identify (at river Bukowina) "Schimmerwitzer M."
which means Schimmerwitzer M|hle.
