Was puttering around the Internet this morning when I came across this page:

Though a Jewish site, it is an extraction of a 1923 business directory for 
the Tuchin region and the list includes Germans who owned businesses of 
different sorts in the area - mostly windmills.  You may want to check for 
your surnames there.

There is also a link to a map so you can see the villages in the immediate 
vicinity of Tuchin.
