Regarding the Pokrant surname in the message, the Pokrants from Volhynia 
are holding a family reunion this weekend in Rosenfeld, Manitoba.  This may 
be of interest to your contact.

Also, the EWZ records which you may have seen mentioned on other postings 
will probably be of value to him in tracing the WW II migration of his 
family.  Originals are in a German archive with copies in Washington, DC.
