The Ms Encarta Worldatlas shows two villages with the name Wielka Wies in Woj. Lodzkie. In both cases the distance to Kalisz is 50-60 km. One of them is situated about 10 km north of Zdunska wola. The second about 20 km SW of Zdunska Wola. Annegret
