Ursula,   Welcome to the club!  My family were Baptists also...best
contacts:
--Get a copy of"In the Midst of Wolves" by Don Miller..Its a history of
German Baptists in Volhynia, Russia..where most of them lived.  Don has a
web site with details.  He also leads a yearly trip to Volhynia and visiting
of (mostly) Baptist villages.  I went with him in June of last year.

Search website of SGGEE (So of German Genealogy in Eastern Europe) By far
the best reference for your people.  They focus on Germans from Poland and
Volhynia.
