Two different regions going on here.

Haberkorn, Schmeltzer and Ramin are surnames associated with Plock parish,
North of the Wisla river (where Maszewo is located). In Polish, the maiden name
Ramin would be "z Raminow"

Schmelcher appears to be a separate surname that I have recorded in Nowosolna
parish (=Neu Sulzfeld), due East of Lodz. Ober-Wiaczin is Wiaczyn Gorny in
Polish (with appropriate diacritical markings)
, in the same parish.

I do not exclude the possibility that it is a dialectal variant of
Schmeltzer, but I do not own to the expertise to proclaim this as fact.

Few Germans were likely to remain in either of these areas after the end of
World War II
