Thanks, Jerry, for the concise info on the various religious groups in 
Volhynia.  I would like to add that for anyone interested in the Moravian history in 
Russia Poland and in Volhynia to please read the article written by Cy Harke 
in the SGGEE Journal, June 2004, pages 14-22.  Very informative.
The Moravians did not really get to be officially present in Volhynia due to 
the refusal of the Lutheran Church and the Russian government in 1884 to 
permit the group of petitioners (over 100 names) asking for removal from the 
Lutheran Church in order to form the Moravian church in Volhynia.  Many of them did 
leave Volhynia about 10 years later to come into Canada (and some into the 
USA).
