  I am looking for the birth date and the parents' name of my ancestor 
Heinrich Philipp Gerhardt born July 1756 at Lutterbach Haut-Rhin.  He was 
catholic.  His father was born around 1723 and his mother 1731.  Prior to 
his enlistment, he was single, had one brother and one sister.  He claimed 
he was from Sarrebourg.  He came to Québec with the regiment Hesse Hanau, 
company Von Schoell, in 1777.  He married Madeleine Lapointe the 12 of June 
at St-Nicolas Québec in the presence of Luke Braunn, Augustin Brueher and 
George Leitter.  He passed away  27 of May 1826. Thank you for your help.
