Klaus,
If you look at the location of Gucin, which Gary Warner and I have suggested 
to be the place you are looking for, you will see that it is much closer to 
Plonsk than to Plock (Plotzk).  It is located in the middle of the triangle 
constituted by the towns of Plonsk, Ciechanow and Nasielsk.
