[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Time in Winnipeg

Hello All,
  That is an interesting question - my great-grandfather Gustav Menke also went to Winnipeg first before going south to Gretna, MB / Neche, ND area. While in Winnipeg, family lore says he worked on helping to build a Lutheran Church there. I am not sure of the name, it would have been in 1900.
