A revised version of the Master Pedigree Database has been posted to 
the website.  It is accessible only by SGGEE members.

Gary Warner, our database manager, reports:

The database now contains 347,646 names (less a few that did not load 
correctly due to the length of data in some locations).

No merge of data has occurred since the last upload.  There are some 
small additions of new names, but mostly the changes are the 
combining of surnames so that the most common version of a surname is 
now first in any listing of alternate surnames.  I doubt that the 
ordering of names has been perfect, so if members wish to point out 
that I am in error in my combining of the alternates, I would like to 
hear that.    I would also like to know if there are names in the 
database that should obviously be combined and which I have missed.
