Elvin,

As Miles indicated in a follow-up message, the records 1866-1875 from Przedecz church were not microfilmed by the LDS but do appear to be in the Wloclawek Archives, unless they have been recently moved to the new Konin Archives with the rest of the Przedecz records (1876-1904).

If you want to order August Meyer's birth record it will cost you little more than the 1940 National Registration record - which provides good informatin and many feel is worth it. Yes the Alberta documents are rather costly. A record from the Archives would cost about $29 to the Archives, plus about $30-35 for wiring charges.

Since I have all the Przedecz films and made photocopies of all the hand written indexes I took the liberty of looking for any Meyer-Schultz children born in time period 1861 to 1865 but found none. If they had children in this time frame, they may be in the Zgierz records.

But it would appear they moved to Przedecz area by 1872.

In the Przedecz indexes starting 1876 I see a Johann born in early 1877 to Meyer and Schultz but died 2 months later.
1878 has a Wilhelmina born in early in the year, possibly January.
1879 Death index shows an Emilie Meyer, age 18, parents Meyer-Schultz, probaby first child. Also Emil Meyer age 10 years, no parents recorded in the index.
1880 shows a Emilie born near the end of the year, possibly November.

Do these two sisters fit into the family?

  Hi Elvin,
I can't help you with August Meyer in Volhynia, but there is the following
couple in the SGGEE pedigree database:
August Emil Ferdinand Meyer / Henriette Wilhelmine Schulz, married 12 Apr
  1860 in Zgierz, Poland.
Several generations of ancestors are also in the database.
  Hope this helps.

  formerly of Leduc
