Verna:
I have just reviewed some of my older emails and there is a possibility I have a connection with the Janke family you are interested in.
I have a an uncle (by marriage) by the name of Ludwig Janke, born 7 Jun 1883 in Nee Seefeld, Lutzk. I have his father as Wilhelm and his mother as Wilhelmine Kuehn.
I haven't delved into the Janke line of my family except for the descendants of Ludwig and my aunt Bertha (nee Klemke) so my "old country" data is weak, however you might be able to make a connection. If so I can probably be of assistance with Ludwig's descendants.

John Marsch
Saskatchewan, Canada.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I have Janke's(Jahnke) from Lutzk, Volhynia in my line
My Grandmother was Emma Janke/Kuhl born 1887 --came to Canada 1907
One of her brother's was Julius Janke--- came to Canada 1913
She had a brother August Janke who lived in Alexandria,Volhynia
His mother Julianna Janke, lived with him. Her maiden name was Krueger(Kreiger)
I've been trying to find out more on this Janke family for some time.

Good luck in your search, Sincerely,
  Verna Kuhl/Hutchinson
