   Brandt,

       The surviving British passenger lists (1890-1960) are now
  online, so you could (for a few $$) check what information is there.
  Lists I've looked at from the 20s gave some information on how the
  family entered Britain.

      The Tunisian left Liverpool for Montreal on 21 Sept 1910. (That's
  all I could find for free).

     The web site is

      It might also be worth while checking the Hamburg passenger
  lists, as that was one of the most popular ways of getting to
  Britain.
