Hello Marg:
I don't know about 1894. My family came over in 1926. We went by train from
Zhitomir by train to Moscow, by train from Moscow to Riga, Latvia. They by
ship to London,
By train to Liverpool. By ship to St. John, N.B. It was all arranged thru
the CPR in Winnipeg.

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] 1890

For the people who decided to leave Volhynia for Canada
in 1890 what route would they have taken to get from the homes they
were leaving to England? Are there any stories told of this trek?
