[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Canadian immigration records question

Hello,

I have found a death certificate of a potential, important relative at the
Vancouver BC Archives.gov site.
This person immigrated from Leipzig, Germany, possibly in the 1940's or
50's.
Passenger ship list record appear to exist online only for before 1900's.

I apologize if this is not an appropriate question for this group.

But does anyone know where to inquire about Canadian immigration records?
