- they will prepare the church records you need
- and reserve a reader or reader/printer (microfilm)

My recommendation: 
You should also visit the states archive (Bundesarchiv) in Berlin.
I'm shure: you'll get some new and detailed information about your ancestors in VOLYNIA
Maybe not only for Schu(h)mann, Freimann ... !?

Prepare a list of your family-members who lived in Volynia and search for their names.
Look for Sign. R57 neu, Bd. 1500 to Bd. 1530 ... sorted alphabetically
