If you forget where you found a set of indices or online records, you may
go to
http://www.ksiegi-parafialne.pl/
select the second tab from the left,
which will give you a drop-down list of the current Wojewódstwa.
The site is a clearinghouse for information of this kind; hyperlinks are
provided.

This is a very hard list to keep up, as the situation changes A LOT every
week. This list does better for indices than it does for tracking ALL the
scans that are currently available.

Even so, not every question will be answered by this site.
Karl K. expressed interest in a certain marriage record from Żelechlinek
that
were indexed at Geneteka. (geneteka.genealodzy.pl). They
advertise marriages 1722-1906, but technically, when you examine
closer, they really only have 1722-25,27-31,33-52,54-56,58-60,65-83,85-1906.
Still and all, that is an impressive range of dates.

LDS has filmed only 1856-1888.
The State Archives seems to have found more records since the time LDS was
filming,
see
http://baza.archiwa.gov.pl/sezam/pradziad.php?l=en&mode=showopis&id=20524&miejscowosc=Zelechlinek
*1826-1834, 1836-1850, 1852-1855, 1857, 1873-1874, 1876-1880, 1882-1903*
but it still does not answer the question of where the records before 1826
came from.

The answer is either the church itself, an ecclesiastical archive, or the
State Achive itself
under the assumption that they are behind in cataloging.

Karl, at Geneteka, notice the far right column labelled "Dodał: 'added
by'.Click on the orange-colored A,
which will take you to a page where it tells you that someone named
Jreneusz is responsible. You may
contact Jreneusz via email by clicking on the green-colored hyperlink that
says "Wyślij e-mail poprzez formularz".

Also, if you can, be sure to spell Żelechlinek in Polish. Ż not only
sounds different than Z, but also is
a different letter, which alphabetizes AFTER it. I use
http://polish.typeit.org/ for writing emails and
conducting web searches.
