Hi Debbie

I have my Krause line on Ancestry.com. I haven't seen how to put it on
SGGEE yet. Time poor.

Here's a cut and paste from another e-mail I submitted earlier that shows a
few of the early names. Sorry I don't even know what country Alt Arcis,
Bessarabia is in??

My Krause’s (all in Poland) were in the Sompolno area 1840’s to 1880’s.
Then at some stage the brothers and sisters of my Great Grandfather (Ludwig
Krause) moved to Chelm, Lublin (Lubelskie) areas. They were married and had
children in these areas from 1890’s to 1940’s as per the SGGEE Database.
The parents of my Great Grandfather were Martin Krause (1824-1863) and Anna
Elisabeth (aka Louise) Fandrich (1827-?). She married (still in Synogac
near Sompolno) a man called Gottlieb Steinke in 1865 after Martin died.

7 children of Martin Krause and Anna Elisabeth Fandrich are (all grew up in
Synogac near Sompolno):

Gottlieb Krause – born November 23, 1848 in Przedworszczyzna, Konin,
Wielkopolskie, Poland (Married Karoline Grubek in 1876 in Sompolno)
Children are Caroline Krause b6/9/1880, Adaline Krause b18/6/1883, Olga
Krause b11/7/1884, all born in Volhynia

August Krause – born November 13, 1850 in Rybno (Wierbinek Gmina), Konin,
Wielkopolskie, Poland (Married Anna Justine Bittner/Beutner in 1875 in
Lublin.
Children are Ernestine Krause b 1876 (m Stephan Fandrich) (Children are
Wilhelm Fandrich b1906, Martha Fandrich b10/6/1910, name unknown b1918, name
unknown b1920)
Rudolf Krause b 1885 (m Wanda Lippert) (Children are
Edmund b1913, Martha b1914, Johanna b1917, August b1919, Rudolf b1920)
Alexander Krause b 1887 (m Emma Lehmann) (Children are
Edmund, Rudolf, Natalie, Reinhold, Hermann, Emil, Stefanie, Leo, Freida,
Lea - all born in Chelm, Lubelski 1919 to 1936))

Anna Rosine Krause – born July 4, 1853 in Synogac, Radziejow,
Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland (Married Ludwig Kautz in 1875)

Gottfried Krause – born November 14, 1855 in Synogac, Radziejow,
Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland

Ludwig Krause – born April 18, 1858 in Synogac, Radziejow,
Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland (Emigrated to Australia. Married Doloris
Schmidt) – MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS

Julius Krause – born March 10, 1860 in Synogac, Radziejow,
Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland

Henriette Krause – born September 21, 1862 in Synogac, Radziejow,
Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland

We would desperately like to contact any of the descendants as we have lots
of photos including some taken at a studio in Chelm, Hrubieszow. But we
have no idea who anyone in the photos are.

As Earl said our best chance will probably be to do the DNA testing and hope
there is someone already matching there or comes along one day. There are
just SO many Krause's. One unique feature of my Krause's is they pretty
much never have a second name. So that lets me eliminate a lot of potential
matches.

Michaelle,

Do you have your Krause line posted somewhere? I have Krause in my
family from Alt Arcis, Bessarabia that go back to Poland but not sure
where in Poland.
