Hi Folks,
Samuel Hoffmann (c.1832) and Eva Rauchert (c.1836, daughter of Karl Rauchert/Richert and Louise Linsz) were married at Gosdorf Poland in October 1852 by a Rev. Stockmann, a Lutheran minister. Does anyone know of this village/parish or Lutheran minister?
Samuel and Eva had children born at "Julianow, Tarlow, by Radom" and I am wondering if Gosdorf is near to where their children were born. In the mid 1870's Samuel and Eva moved to Rozy. area.
Samuel was said to have been an orphan so I hope to find more about him by looking for the Raucherts. After Eva's father Karl Rauchert died, her mother married a Mr. Stelter, first name not known. On Samuel's naturalization papers he mentions Lublin?
     Any suggestions would be appreciated.
     with thanks!
Corinne Arnold
