 I find Mary Rode as the mother of my gr. granddad on his death cert.  She
would have been married to John Cramer. Cert. says she is from Mecklenberg. I
know their son John Frederick Theodore Cramer married Dorothea Elizabeth
Vitzer. I have some census papers  and other things about them, but do not
know about his father, and mother Mary Rode. A few children in the family have
Wilhelm in their names, so maybe there is a connection to your Wilhelm? I can
come forward from my gr. granddad, but not back. Don't know of any of his
brothers or sisters. If anything sounds familiar, let me know.
