[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Re:Lippert name

Karla:

The name Krampitz is found in quite a few German Lutheran parishes in Poland
and in the St. Pete's records.  My granuncle's step-father was Krampitz.

Is it possible that your grandfather changed his name after leaving
Volhynia?
